What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Melbourne, where we often experience all seasons in a matter of hours! Our wedding is in the middle of Spring which could mean warm sunny conditions or cold miserable drizzle. We'll do our best to keep you warm and dry, but best to bring a jacket!
Where should I park?
There is free parking located along Birdwood Avenue for the ceremony. When we move locations, there are a number of secure parking locations within walking distance of the restaurant. You can also catch the Route 86 or Route 72 tram line!
Is there a dress code?
Semi-formal with no plain white, black, or red outfits please. Just make sure you're comfortable!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors in the Royal Botanical Gardens. As evening falls, we will then relocate to an indoor space at Bamboo House restaurant.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. You will be on grass, there will be walking between venues.
Should I bring a gift?
The greatest gift to us both is that all our favourite people are there to celebrate with us, no thing else is expected at all. If you would however like to contribute something small to our honeymoon, a donation to our wishing well would make our day.
